Since then it has been completely refurbished to the highest possible standard to faithfully restore the magnificence of one of Knaresborough most renowned inns.Re-opened late 2007 to the general public, The Mitre is now offering sumptuous food, fine hand-pulled real ales and 4 luxurious en-suite bedrooms. Situated at the top of Water Bag Bank (adjacent to St Johns Church and Knaresborough railway station) The Mitre benefits from superb views, is only 10-minutes drive from the centre of the spa town of Harrogate and is the perfect place to meet, relax and enjoy yourself.
